Desert Heights Charter School

Desert Heights Charter School (“DHCS”) is a small K-4 charter elementary school which also has a preschool program.  Our leadership and staff believe strongly in working collaboratively with parents to promote a positive educational experience for each and every child.  Consequently, Desert Heights has become known in the educational community as a school that “feels like family”.

One of the benefits of being a charter school is our ability to create an environment that is safe, community oriented, and family friendly. We are always hosting special events to acknowledge our families and we highly encourage parent participation in a variety of ways including asking parents to volunteer within the community. Our campus is always open to parents and this inviting atmosphere continues on at our Preparatory Campus for 5th through 12th grade students.
