Our volunteers play a very important role here at Desert Heights!! We encourage our families and community to get involved! We have many opportunities for those that wish to volunteer, whether it be in the classroom, assisting in the cafeteria, playground, or front office. We also encourage parents to participate in the planning of our many community events.
Interested? To volunteer on campus, volunteers must complete and submit the Volunteer Application. Additionally, it is policy that all school volunteers have a valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card, or AZ Background Check, on file in the front office prior to volunteering on campus. All chaperones must complete our chaperone training, and submit the chaperone training form at least 1 week prior to the field trip. For those that want to chaperone an upcoming field trip, please take a moment to view our Chaperone Training PowerPoint. Once the training has been reviewed, please complete the Chaperone Training Form and submit it to the front office. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the front office.
